A New Day

Today started out pretty gloomy.  The sky was gray and it was dreary outside...only adding to my misery of getting out of bed to go to work.  I dragged myself to school, thinking in my head, only 4 more days left until spring break, 4 more days...ugh 4 more LONG days....

My day at work was a pretty typical crummy one, but I did find a moment of grace in that the rain stopped just long enough to let the kids have recess outside, I HATE indoor recess...I think I dislike it more than the kids do lol.  The kids are really wound up this time of the year, and with my group try multiplying that to whatever exponential power you please and you'll get the picture.  Needless to say, by the time 3:30 rolled around, I was ready to head out the door.

On my way home I was thinking...UGH now I have to go work out with my awful trainer (I recently had to get a new one because the one I was working with took a new job and left, last week was my first meeting with the new trainer, and I nearly cried and threw up at the same time while I was working out with her...and she was just kind of rude...I was really dreading meeting up with her again).  The day was just not my day...

However, I took a detour on the way home to pick up some subway (using my giftcard from a student from Christmas), and that's when everything turned around.  After eating, I decided to mosey on down the strip mall to the Verizon store to finally have someone look at my phone with a malfunctioning camera.  As soon as I stepped into the store I was greeted by a friendly hostess and immediately ushered over to one of the techs after signing in, NO WAIT, WAHOO!  The tech guy was friendly, quirky, and funny...totally what I needed to pick up my mood.  He quickly figured out that the camera is not connecting correctly with the phone anymore and that's grounds for a new phone.  Thank goodness I have insurance on my phone, because I am getting a new one shipped to me overnight for FREE!!!  And THEN, homie tech guy broke my phone cover while he was trying to put it back on, it was just a plane clear plastic one that I didn't really like anyway...SOOO he replaced it with a new PINK one instead!!! YAY!!!

THEN, there was still the issue of the trainer...I showed up to the gym, dreadfully yet faithfully.  Low and behold, the heavens showed their grace once more as this horrible trainer I did not want to meet with was double booked!  SO I got to work out with a different trainer and he turned out to be AMAZING!!!  He worked me out just right, I didn't feel sick or dead by the end of it, but I felt energized and good.  Just what I want from a work out...so I scheduled the rest of what's left of my training sessions with him! Voila!  An initially lousy day 180'd!  Thanks be to God for all of it!
